HOW SMALL IS YOUR STRENGTH?
“If you falter in a time of trouble, how small is your strength!” (Proverbs 24:10, NIV)

What does your schedule look like? Mine is completely crazy. I have no idea how I’m going to get everything done by the end of the week. Last week, however, everything was calm. I had very few commitments and was able to get all the things accomplished that I had intended.
Have you ever noticed peaks and valleys in your schedule? When things get hectic are you able to pull yourself together and get all of your work done or do you throw your hands up in the air and surrender? Are you able to find your “second wind” or do you just give up?
Giving up is easy. Just turn off your computer, or pack up your brief case, and go home. But what about your commitments? What about your job? Somebody has to get things done – if you don’t do it, who will? Giving up isn’t an option.
So what are you going to do? You guessed it. You’re going to ask God for His help. You’re going to spend a few minutes with Him – just you and the Almighty, and you’re going to ask Him for the strength and ability to get through whatever it is you need to get through. Not only will He give you the endurance and energy you need to “get through it,” but He’ll also help you get through it VICTORIOUSLY!
There is no need to “falter in a time of trouble.”
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7, NIV)
Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and to strengthen you, and He will. The blessings will come, as your relationship with Christ grows stronger.
Enjoy your day, “Working for Christ”!

Seemed like the closer I got to the end-date on an event here; the HARDER it was getting for me..and I prayed and prayed and dug my heels in and hung on IN..and now? I’m a week out and I’m still hanging and it is easing UP..Real talk. Thanks for sharing. Seems I can always find something to relate to on your blog. Keep it coming…and as always stay uplifted/blessed

What a blessing! I’m so glad that you can find something here that you can relate to. It’s so tough to stay focused and to remain faithful especially when things are hard to deal with. Just keep on praying! We have the very same Holy Spirit living within us who raised Christ from the dead. Now that’s powerful stuff! Thanks so much for your comment. Come back often …
