Be Holy!

“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: Be holy, because I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:14-16, NIV)

Just because we call ourselves Christians, doesn’t mean we are no longer sinners; it doesn’t mean that we no longer have evil desires; it doesn’t mean that we will never make poor decisions. It simply means that we have been forgiven! And because we are forgiven, our lives have been transformed – we no longer need to live in ignorance! We now live to please God, not ourselves! By living for God, our work, our relationships, and our entire being belong to Him! When He is the focal point in our lives, we can’t help but to become more “holy in all we do”! Stay focused this Wednesday! Have a wonderful day, “Working for Christ”!
