We All Face Trials!

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.”  (James 1:2-3, NIV)

Many people feel that there couldn’t possibly be a God because a loving God would never allow us to suffer the way we often do! The Bible says unequivocally that we will face trials of many kinds. These trials take many forms but often include problems with our health, our relationships, our jobs, and our finances. They appear when we least expect them, but they are the intentional plan of God to help us develop and refine of our faith. Trials are God’s way of teaching us how to build our character. They humble us and cause us to surrender everything we have to Christ Jesus. Trials are a part of God’s perfect plan to make us better witnesses for Him in the workplace and in the world. As it is eloquently stated in John 9:3, NIV“…this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in him.”

Have a wonderful week, “Working for Christ”!
