Are You A Jesus Freak?

“Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” (Colossians 4:5-6, NIV)

Christians are often criticized for being Jesus “freaks”, or for being fanatical, or cultish. The way other people view us is a direct result of the way we act toward them and by the way we speak to them. If we act or speak like a fanatic, it only stands to reason that we will be thought of as a fanatic. If we show love and compassion to those around us, and speak to them with respect and grace, our image will reflect the character of Christ and He will be honored! If that makes us look like Jesus “freaks”, then let’s be the best “freaks” we can be! Enjoy your Wednesday, “Working for Christ”!
