Actions Speak Louder Than Words!

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” (1 John 3:18, NIV)

The way others see us is exactly what we are to them. If they see us as honest, compassionate, loving, and caring by the way we speak, but then turn our backs on those in need we will be viewed as being hypocritical and two-faced. Our “witness” as Christians will be overshadowed by our negative actions. It is so important for us to “live” our Christianity, and not just to talk about it. There is no doubt that we will struggle every single day, but the closer we get to Christ, the easier it will become.

Take a few minutes to think about the way your co-workers, friends, and associates “see” you. Make sure your actions communicate the same feelings as your words! Enjoy your Thursday, “Working for Christ”.
