Climbing The Corporate Ladder!

“Love…is not self-seeking…” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5, NIV)

Really? That’s a tough one to live by in today’s workplace, isn’t it? If you don’t look out for yourself, who will? The world would have you think that you have to do whatever it takes to get to the top – even at the expense of others. But that’s not God’s way of doing things. God wants success to come to you in His way – in His time.

Perhaps you’ve been hurt in the past by an employer or coworker. Maybe someone you trusted betrayed you so they could get ahead in the company. It happens, but try not to let that situation discourage you. Continue to walk in love, and allow God to open doors for you. He will!

You don’t have to “play the game” to climb the corporate ladder. You don’t have to step on anyone to get ahead. You can rest in God, knowing that He has “your back”. He wants you to succeed, and He knows the best path for you to follow. You won’t miss out on any promotions, opportunities, or successes as long as you follow Him and let His love be your guide.

Look to Him this Thursday to help you find “success”. As long as you are following Him you are on the right path! Enjoy your day, “Working for Christ”!
