TEACH YOUR CHILDREN!

Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”  (Proverbs 22:6, NLT)

proverbs 22_6

I’m amazed at how many Christian parents and churches don’t teach their young people how to become Godly workers! Then they wonder why young people today have such a sour attitude toward work, and why they have such a poor work ethic. Perhaps it’s because they haven’t been trained very well!

The future of the church – and society as a whole – belongs to our children and grandchildren. In order for Christianity to survive we must teach future generations to love the Lord and to respect the planet on which we live. The most effective way to do this is to live by example – Christ’s example.

Satan would love to see our children “crash and burn” in the workplace … but with God’s intervention, these young people can gain wisdom that will last a lifetime!

Are you teaching your children how to become Godly workers?

Is your church?

If not, it’s time to get started.

Enjoy your day, “Working for Christ”!

With public education taking over, I think parents (and grands) have forgotten whose responsibility it is to teach our kids the important stuff. Great reminder.

Great post. Children are our greatest asset, yet we don’t treat them as such. It’s no wonder our world is falling apart when children are not being taught the proper values and morals. Parents need to be more active in teaching their children to be Godly and setting a positive example.
